Stop by for a fill up at Buffalo City Jug Shop, home of the Outer Banks’ first growler service. Choose from a daily revolving selection of local and regional craft beers on-tap, like the Weeping Radish’s OBX Kolsch or North Island IPA, coming all the way from Coronado, California. Customers bring in their clean growler jugs to fill or purchase one from the shop. Growlers come in two sizes and are made of stainless steel, glass or plastic. The freshness is sealed in tight for up to a week, giving you the freshly tapped taste when you open it later. You can also stock up on some of their hundreds of specialty brews in bottles and cans as well as wine and accessories. The store is open year round and features frequent brewer events.
