If you have tasted Chef Alfredo Landazuri's cooking, you will know he is passionate about cooking. If you know him well, you will know he is passionate about his family. Born in Lima, Peru and now an Outer Banks local for over 20 years, Alfredo is the General Manager and Partner at Mahi Mahi's Island Grill. This is not his first rodeo! Alfredo has a long history of culinary studies, professional food service and restaurant management. Many of you know him from the excellent work he has done at local restaurants, or maybe from Taste of The Beach, where he has won 1st place in 9 different categories through the years. Now he is one of the brains behind Mahi Mahi's Island Grill.
Alejandro Rodriguez is mostly known as Chef Alex among the Outer Banks community. Born in El Salvador, and Outer Banks resident since 2013, Chef Alex is the reason why our food will have a big Latin flavor influence. At 26 years old, Alex has plenty of experience in the restaurant industry, mostly acquired while working with Alfredo Landazuri at Stripers for 5 years and Chef Tony Duman, head chef at the Brewing Station. The team at Mahi Mahi’s Island Grill is lucky and happy to introduce you our Head Chef Alejandro Rodriguez. You are going to love his food!
