Owners Brian Brown and chef Craig Errickson first founded the brewhouse-style establishment in 1998 with 18 microbrew and domestic beers on tap, a true first for the Outer Banks at that time.
Over the past few decades, North Carolina has become a state known for the craft brews, and you will find a few of them featured at the bar at Red Drum Grille & Taphouse. And they have traditional favorites as well. So whether you are a fan of the People’s Porter by Foothills Brewing Company in Winston-Salem or you prefer the classic Yuengling Traditional Lager, you will have no problem finding a pint to raise in a toast to your Outer Banks vacation. Perhaps you would enjoy a Pacifico with lime or something a bit heavier in a Guinness Black Lager. Red Drum has got you covered.
While you enjoy your beer in this Nags Head restaurant, you can also enjoy kicking back in the comfortable furniture or challenging your friends to a game of pool or foosball. If you’re a video game fan or a sports fan, there are games and televisions available too! And the beer pairs great with the food at Red Drum Grille & Taphouse, where you can order bar food and steamed food until midnight.
