Beach Food Pantry

All the natural beauty and wonder that comes with coastal living also comes with a level of risk and uncertainty. To live among the diamond shoals of the Outer Banks is to live exposed and vulnerable to the unpredictable powers of nature. You never know when your life could be upended from a hurricane or natural disaster. Beach Food Pantry is a nonprofit food bank, located on the Bypass in Kitty Hawk, that provides free groceries to Dare County residents experiencing a temporary crisis or emergency. In 2017 Beach Food Pantry raised more than $50,000 and assisted more than 4,000 people. The Beach Food Pantry is a great place to donate your resources and time; they accept volunteers of all ages year round open.
