The sibling owners of Bros Sandwich Shack share a passion for cooking and a love of Hatteras Island. Classically trained as chefs, the brothers long dreamed of owning their own restaurant. While vacationing on Hatteras, they found an opportunity to open a restaurant and jumped at the chance. Now they have a second location in the Outlets at Nags Head. From beef ground fresh in-house to waffle fries, pickles and sauces, almost everything you’ll find at Bros is house made. The menu showcases burgers and hot sandwiches and has expanded to feature a new selection of craft bottled beer from Foothills Brewery. They have a 12-seat bar and recently remodeled the restaurant, expanding their seating capacity to 70 seats. Try out the Cowboy Bro, a fresh burger basted in sriracha BBQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, smoked gouda and applewood smoked peppered bacon. Vegetarians will find some quality options, including a house-made Quinoa Patty.
