Things To Do in Nags Head: Lighthouses

Though it’s not technically located with the town limits, Nags Head is lucky enough to have one of the Outer Banks lighthouses very close to town. Bodie Island Lighthouse, one of three National Park Service lighthouses on the Outer Banks, is only a couple of miles south of Nags Head. It’s open for climbing. The world-famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is about an hour south of Nags Head. Both Outer Banks lighthouses are open for climbing.
