Welcome to Country Girl Charters – Outer Banks Fishing at Its Finest
The legacy of Outer Banks fishing is alive and well at Country Girl Charters. Custom built in 1990 by legendary Outer Banks boatbuilder Buddy Cannady, the 57’ Carolina-style charter boat originally was operated by lifelong Outer Banks angler Captain Allan Foreman and is now run by his son (and the boatbuilder’s grandson) Captain Charles Foreman, who grew up in the Outer Banks fishing industry and has been working on charter fishing boats since he was 12 years old.
As the only charter boat that’s Coast Guard-licensed and equipped to carry up to 27 anglers to the Gulf Stream (most only carry six), Country Girl plays a special role in the Oregon Inlet fleet. In addition to its unique capacity, the boat is known for its speed, which means a quick journey to the Gulf Stream, as well as its roominess. Open from cabin to stern on both sides, Country Girl offers plenty of room for your Outer Banks fishing party to spread out both in the salon and on the decks. The boat is newly repowered with reliable CAT engines and offers state-of-the-art electronics, top-of-the-line gear and all the amenities for a comfortable, safe and fun Outer Banks fishing trip.
More Than Outer Banks Fishing
Country Girl is an amazing boat for Gulf Stream charters, bottom fishing and other types of Outer Banks fishing, but it’s also the perfect boat for private cruises, ashes at sea ceremonies and pelagic bird tours. One of the few Outer Banks boats licensed to carry more than six anglers/passengers, it’s the top choice for large parties of all sorts to experience the Gulf Stream.
