Miss Oregon Inlet II is a beautiful, spacious 60 foot double deck boat. She is new to Oregon Inlet this summer! She is equipped with two C.B. radios, sonar, fish finder, a generator, microwave, charging station, fridge and plenty of seating.
Tripp Phillips started working on the Miss Oregon Inlet at 14-years-old. He worked as a bait boy for three years and then was promoted to first mate for another two years. In November of 2019 Captain Phillips took his captains license class at age 18. He passed his 6-pack and 100-ton license class to become licensed to run the Head boat. In spring of 2020 Captain Phillips was promoted to captain and started running the Head boat at age 19. Captain Phillips stated "It has been an honor to take the roll as captain and a great experience for my future life aspirations."
Captain and Mate Edward Lee Mann is a native of Roanoke Island. He grew up on these waters hunting and fishing every day. After high school graduation, he joined the Coast Guard where he served for 25 years. He earned his sea legs and rank as Lieutenant. After retirement, he returned home to start back hunting and fishing every day. He began working on the Miss Oregon Inlet to watch people of all ages catch fish and just have a great time. You will only see him as Captain when Captain Tripp Phillips is at school because Edward Lee enjoys telling his stories on deck to everyone! So be sure to ask for one or two when you see him!
Taylor has been on the boat since she was 20 and a junior in college. After college graduation Taylor decided to make her passion of fishing her career. Taylor earned her captains license along with being 1st mate on the Miss Oregon Inlet II. She is dedicated, experienced and hard working. She can’t wait to you and your family fishing!
