If there’s a heart to the Outer Banks, this is it. The central Outer Banks towns of Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head are the busiest and most populated and therefore home to more of the Outer Banks bars and Outer Banks nightlife opportunities. In these towns you’ll find breweries, bottle shops, dive bars, live music bars, oceanfront tiki-style bars, karaoke bars and so much more. If you’re a night owl, this stretch of Outer Banks bars is definitely where you belong, with Kill Devil Hills offering the most nightlife bars. The bars and nightlife establishments in this area are a little more spread out, so if you are planning to bar hop you’ll need to use that Uber or Lyft app or call one of the local taxi services (yes, we still have those here).
