Fishing Report: Although the conditions are difficult, two slot PUPPY DRUM have been landed this morning. One 28 - inches and another 31 - inches. Sunny, wind NE 25 mph. Large, stormy seas, water temp 75. High tide 8:57 a.m. and 9:18 p.m. Low tide 3:13 p.m.

If you do not need to be out please stay home until TS Idalia subsides. There is no fishing report. Tropical storm conditions with winds gusting to 50 mph. The ocean is a washing machine. Tides don't matter today. Stay safe!

Tony Imperelli caught this nice, 5.9 pound SHEEPSHEAD this morning! Another great day of waves and conditions for the WRV OBX Pro surf contest. So far, anglers reporting SHEEPSHEAD and PIGFISH. Water temp 78 degrees. Wind from W at 11 mph. High tides 7:14 a.m. and 7:39 p.m. High tide 1:27 p.m.

Fishing Report: Big surf and decent fishing. So far, SHEEPSHEAD, BLUEFISH and RIBBONFISH. Water temp 74 degrees. SW wind at 1 knot. High tides 6:20 a.m. and 6:47 p.m. Low tide 12:28 p.m.
