Cloudy and Cooler -- Yesterday's beach weather (photo) has given way to clouds and colder temperatures. A dozen or so anglers are giving it a go. So far, SKATES. Winds SW at 11 knots. Air 57 degrees, water temp 52. Low tide 8:22 a.m. High tide 2:08 p.m.

High Tides -- Due to the recent run of storms producing high seas and strong winds, we’ve been unable to safely deploy the Mobi-Mat at our bathhouse. Once the weather settles down and we’re able to clear the access ramp of accumulated sand we’ll get the mat out for the season.

Foggy Morning -- A bit of lingering fog around. Warmer today with less wind. Air temp 44 degrees, water temp 49. North winds at 9 knots. High tide 9:24 a.m. Low tide 3:31 p.m. We switch to our spring hours, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., this Friday, March 29. The bath house also reopens.
