Solar Cars -- Windy and sunny today. Two anglers are giving it a go. Wind-blown surf. Winds are N at 23 knots. Air temp 50 degrees, ocean water temp 52. These field trip students loved the solar cars program taught by our educators last week.

Ratchet Strap -- With help from climber, Brad, crews from ECU and CSI deployed the HERO WEC this morning. The device uses wave energy to pump sea water up a hose onto the pier deck where it runs through a desalination unit. Swing by to check it out.
