
Students from Camden Intermediate School arrived this morning in three buses and spent the day fishing, performing squid dissections and conducting water cycle experiements with our education team.

Mint Hill Middle School 8th graders Joseph and Mikayla each hooked up on tiny PINFISH yesterday while enjoying a field trip to the Pier. The bus tour school groups were visting the Outer Banks for several days.

NE Winds -- Anglers are catching SEA MULLET despite a moderate breeze of 15 knots from the northeast. Ocean water temp 54 degrees. Sunny, small surf and windy. Low tide 5:25 a.m. and 5:19 p.m. High tide 11:11 a.m. Kyle Pleasant of Currituck caught this awesome RED DRUM yesterday.

Moderate Breeze -- Partly cloudy and north winds at 17 knots. So far, anglers have caught small CROAKER and small SAND PERCH. Water temp 52 degrees. Low tide 4:30 a.m. and 4:26 p.m. High tide 10:19 a.m. Ayden Elliott caught and released this beautiful RED DRUM yesterday.

Tuna Bite -- Anglers have been fighting what appears to be BLUEFIN TUNA all morning! None have been landed but multiple people have witnessed the action!
